Server/Waitress

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering prompt, friendly, and efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring the presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Process payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems, handling cash and credit transactions responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and assist with any special requests from guests.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling food items.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems for processing orders efficiently.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when necessary.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• A proactive attitude towards helping others, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued in our establishment.
