We are seeking a friendly and professional Serveur to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties

• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to uphold food safety standards
• Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials or additional items to enhance their experience
• Handle cashiering responsibilities including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
• Support restaurant operations during busy periods by multitasking efficiently

Requirements

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in the food industry or hospitality sector
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards
• Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently
• Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
