Service Advisor

About the role

This role involves managing customer interactions, vehicle assessments, repair coordination, and documentation in an automotive body and paint repair environment. You will serve as a key point of contact between customers, repair technicians, and insurance providers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and conduct vehicle reception and inspection
• Discuss and assess customer concerns regarding body damage, dents, scratches, paint defects, and accident-related repairs
• Explain repair procedures, estimated costs, and completion timelines
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding repair status and updates
• Prepare accurate repair quotations and cost estimates for body and paint repairs
• Create and process repair orders and service documentation
• Conduct vehicle damage assessments and document findings through photos and inspection reports
• Coordinate with insurance companies, adjusters, and customers regarding insurance claims
• Coordinate repair schedules with Body and Paint Technicians
• Conduct quality checks prior to vehicle release

About you

• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly
• Secure customer approvals before commencement of repairs
• Monitor claim status and facilitate claim approvals
• Monitor repair progress and ensure work is completed within agreed timelines
• Maintain accurate records of repair orders, estimates, and customer transactions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and manufacturer standards
