Service Advisor

A service advisor in the commercial vehicle industry acts as the primary liaison between fleet customers/drivers and workshop technicians. They manage the entire service process, including scheduling, initial diagnostic assessment, cost estimation, parts ordering, and updating clients on repair progress to minimize vehicle downtime.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Customer Liaison & Scheduling: Greet customers, listen to service requests, and schedule appointments, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Initial Diagnosis & Estimation: Perform initial assessments of commercial vehicles, create detailed repair orders, and provide accurate cost estimates for parts and labor.
• Workflow Management: Collaborate with technicians to turn customer requests into clear repair plans, managing the service center's schedule to ensure efficient, timely repairs.
• Communication & Updates: Keep customers informed about service progress, and explain technical issues or necessary additional repairs.
• Warranty & Documentation: Inform customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings, and maintain accurate service records.
• Quality Control: Confirm final quality checks before handing over the vehicle to the customer.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical understanding of commercial vehicle systems.
• Proficiency in service software or CRM tools.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure to minimize downtime.

Pay: ₹15,289.83 - ₹23,114.31 per month
