JOB DESCRIPTION – SERVICE ADVISORAUTOMOBILE DEALERSHIP – SERVICE DEPARTMENT

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend customers and understand their vehicle service and repair requirements.
• Prepare accurate job cards based on customer complaints and vehicle inspection.
• Explain required repairs, service work, estimated costs and delivery timelines to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians and the workshop team to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Keep customers updated regarding the status of their vehicle.
• Prepare service estimates and obtain customer approval before carrying out additional work.
• Ensure proper documentation of service, repair and warranty-related jobs.
• Conduct vehicle inspection and explain additional repair requirements to customers.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally.
• Promote periodic maintenance, value-added services, accessories and other service offerings.
• Ensure adherence to dealership and OEM service processes and quality standards.
• Maintain daily service reports, customer records and relevant MIS.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Basic technical knowledge of automobiles.
• Good coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of MS Office / basic computer applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet service targets.
• Customer-focused approach with professional behavior.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE

• Experience in an Automobile Dealership / Authorized Service Centre will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience as a Service Advisor, Service Executive or similar workshop/customer-facing role may apply.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
