Service Advisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet customers promptly and courteously, obtain relevant vehicle information, and identify their service requirements.
• Prepare service orders accurately and explain the required service or repair work to customers.
• Advise customers on proper vehicle care and maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Implement service marketing programmes.
• Obtain the customer’s signature on the service or repair order and provide a copy of the completed document to the customer.
• Communicate with customers regarding any changes in repair scope, cost, or estimated completion time, and obtain the customer’s authorization prior to carrying out additional repairs.
• Review repair orders to ensure that all requested work has been completed and that any additional repair requirements are properly recorded before closing the repair order.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service records in the relevant automotive management system or database.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Professional Certificate, SKM, Diploma in Automotive or relevant qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Basic technical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems.
• Customer oriented and able to handle customers professionally and effectively.
• Proficiency in using automotive management tools or database system.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both verbal and written.
• Able to work on alternate Saturdays.
