Automotive Service Advisor – Miller 40 Car Care & Tire Center**

**Location:** 580 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096

**Job Type:** Full-time, in person

**Pay:** $500-750 A WEEK

Miller 40 is seeking an organized, dependable **Service Advisor** to join our Windsor Locks team. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, understands automotive repairs, and can coordinate with customers, fleet clients, technicians, and parts vendors to keep repairs moving efficiently.

**Responsibilities**

• Open and manage repair orders, documenting vehicle concerns and diagnostic findings accurately.

• Prepare estimates and obtain approval before repairs begin.

• Coordinate with technicians to confirm repair needs, parts availability, and completion timelines.

• Order parts, request vendor quotes, and track deliveries.

• Keep customers and fleet clients informed about repair progress and expected completion dates.

• Update repair orders daily with accurate pricing, status, and estimated completion dates.

• Confirm approved repairs are completed and paperwork is accurate before closing tickets.

• Help maintain an organized workflow and prioritize vehicles ready for repair.

**Qualifications**

• Previous automotive service advisor or service writer experience preferred.

• Understanding of automotive maintenance and repairs.

• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple repair orders and follow up consistently.

• Comfortable using computers and repair management systems; Mitchell 1 experience is a plus.

• Fleet service experience and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
