Service Advisor

Join our dynamic team as a Service Advisor, where you'll be the vital link between our valued customers and our expert automotive service team. This energetic role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while guiding clients through vehicle maintenance and repair processes. As a Service Advisor, you'll utilize your mechanical knowledge and sales skills to ensure customer satisfaction, promote additional services, and help keep vehicles running smoothly. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive positive experiences and foster long-term client relationships.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
• Explain recommended repairs and services clearly, using estimating software to prepare detailed work orders.
• Upsell appropriate maintenance services such as oil changes, tire service, brake repair, suspension work, and transmission repairs to maximize customer value.
• Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services.
• Provide accurate vehicle estimates, including parts, labor, and additional charges using automotive diagnostics tools.
• Communicate effectively with clients about vehicle status, repair options, and costs while maintaining transparency throughout the process.
• Handle cash transactions professionally and maintain precise records of all service sales and payments.
• Assist with service writing tasks, including documenting repairs for collision repair or diesel engine work when applicable.
• Promote dealership services by identifying opportunities for additional repairs or maintenance based on vehicle condition assessments.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and dealership policies while delivering an energetic and positive customer experience.

Skills

• Strong Automotive knowledge with hands-on experience as a service technician or in automotive repair roles is a helpful knowledge set. However customer service and the ability to multitask is the two most impactful traits for a successful service advisor.
• Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency.
• Dealership experience is not required, We are willing to train the right applicant!
• Knowledge of automotive systems including oil change procedures, air brake systems, shocks & struts replacement, tire balancing, and diesel engine repairs.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to facilitate test drives or vehicle pick-up/drop-off when necessary.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
