Service Advisor

Customer Consultation: Greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and conduct initial inspections (Walk-Around Check).

Service Coordination: Translate customer reported symptoms into actionable repair orders for the technicians.

Estimation & Approval: Provide accurate cost estimates for parts and labor; obtain customer authorization before commencing additional work.

Progress Tracking: Monitor the status of vehicles in the workshop and provide regular updates to customers regarding completion times.

Quality Control: Ensure vehicles are ready as promised and explain all work performed and charges during the vehicle handover.

Administrative Compliance: Maintain accurate records in the DMS (Dealer Management System) and ensure all warranty documentation meets principal requirements.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar frontline role within the automotive industry.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve customer complaints effectively.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive mechanics to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
• Language: Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
• License: Must possess a valid Malaysian driving license (Class D).
