What they need

Company Overview

Dehum is the UK’s leading specialist in industrial dehumidification and humidity control engineering. Based in Glossop, Derbyshire, we design, manufacture, install, upgrade and maintain bespoke air handling and environmental control systems for clients across the UK and internationally.

Our engineered solutions support a wide range of sectors, including aerospace, automotive, food production, pharmaceuticals, defence, advanced manufacturing and many more. We help organisations protect assets, improve product quality, increase process reliability, and reduce energy consumption through carefully designed and expertly delivered humidity control systems.

With 3 decades of technical expertise and a strong reputation for engineering excellence, Dehum continues to grow through innovation, quality, and long-term client partnerships. We are committed to creating controlled environments that enable our customers’ operations to perform at their best.

Role Overview

We are seeking a confident and commercially minded Service Advisor to support the continued growth of Dehum’s Service department.

You will be a point of contact for customers requiring servicing, spare parts and ongoing equipment support. The role combines customer advice with proactive sales activity, helping customers find appropriate solutions while generating revenue and developing long-term relationships.

Sales experience and strong communication skills are essential. You should be comfortable following up opportunities and managing difficult conversations professionally. Technical experience is advantageous, and product and database training will be provided alongside engineer shadowing and support from the office team.

As you develop, you will take greater ownership of customer enquiries and sales opportunities, with potential to progress towards a broader sales role in the future.

The target start date for this role is 7 December 2026.
