Service Advisor

Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a mechanical background and exceptional communication skills to effectively assist customers with their automotive service needs. As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive the highest level of service while facilitating their vehicle maintenance and repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, addressing their inquiries and concerns regarding vehicle services.
• Assess customer needs through effective questioning and active listening to recommend appropriate services.
• Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance, utilizing auto estimating skills.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently as part of the service writing process.
• Promote additional services based on customer needs, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in service writing or as a mechanic is preferred.
• Proficient in cash handling procedures and customer service practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.

**HOURLY PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
