Dirito Brothers Volkswagen is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in Walnut Creek, California.

We are looking for a professional who understands dealership service operations, takes pride in building lasting customer relationships, and is commited to providing an expectional service experience. The ideal candidate is someone who earns customer through honest communication, genuine care, and a commitment to doing what's right for the customer.

Previous Volkswagen Service Advisor experience is strongly preferred, although we welcome experienced advisors from other automotive manufacturers.

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous automotive dealership Service Advisor experience
• Proven ability to manage repair orders independently
• Strong maintenance and repair sales experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders simultaneously
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Understanding of dealership service operations and technician workflow
• Valid driver’s license

Strongly Preferred:

• Volkswagen dealership Service Advisor experience
• Familiarity with Volkswagen maintenance schedules, warranty procedures, and repair processes
• Experience using Reynolds & Reynolds dealership management systems
• Familiarity with Xtime or similar digital service platforms
• Experience with digital multipoint inspections and video inspections
• Demonstrated history of strong customer satisfaction and performance

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet customers and establish a professional, welcoming experience
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair requests
• Review vehicle history and recommend appropriate maintenance
• Present technician findings and recommended repairs confidently and transparently
• Build accurate estimates and obtain customer authorization
• Maintain consistent communication throughout the repair process
• Coordinate with technicians and Parts to keep repairs moving efficiently
• Utilize digital inspections and customer communication tools
• Follow up on declined services, outstanding estimates, and future maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate repair orders and customer records
• Achieve industry performance standards
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and build lasting customer relationships
