Service Advisor

About the role

KSY AUTO SDN BHD is seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team in Putatan, Sabah. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and support within our call centre and customer-facing operations. As a Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between our customers and our service department, ensuring that every interaction is positive, efficient, and tailored to meet individual customer needs. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to customers and understand their vehicle servicing and repair needs.
• Prepare service quotations, job orders, and service documentation.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Explain repair recommendations, service costs, and maintenance schedules to customers,
• Monitor service progress and provide updates to customers.
• Maintain good customer relationships & follow up on customer satisfaction.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive service or customer service is advantageous
• Proven experience in a customer-facing service role, preferably within the automotive or service industry
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
• Proficiency in using computer systems and service management software
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Professional demeanour and neat personal appearance
• Ability to remain calm and composed when handling difficult or upset customers
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify upselling opportunities
• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work the required schedule
• Knowledge of automotive terminology and service procedures is preferred but not essential
• Proficiency in Malay and English languages is essential; additional languages are a plus
