What they need

Job Summary

Maali Motorsports is a family-operated motorcycle dealership, service center, and collision repair shop in Southern California — built by riders, for riders. We're growing fast and looking to bring a Service Advisor / Coordinator into the family to help us keep up with demand and run our service department efficiently.

In this role, you'll run the day-to-day of our service center: the bridge between our customers, our lead technician, and the back office. You'll write and close estimates, coordinate the schedule, handle insurance and warranty claims, and keep the shop organized and moving. You'll work alongside and report to our Service Manager, who owns the department. This is a hands-on, high-trust role for someone who loves bikes and wants to grow with us — not just clock in.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for service customers, delivering clear, honest communication and a great experience
  • Write estimates, follow up with customers, and close repair orders
  • Coordinate the service schedule and the lead technician's workflow to keep turnaround efficient
  • Handle insurance claims for collision work and process warranty claims and manufacturer approvals
  • Order customer parts and shop supplies
  • Communicate with the lead technician to understand diagnostic findings and explain the work and the "why" to customers in plain language
  • Recommend additional service and performance/accessory upgrades where they genuinely benefit the customer
  • Keep the service center organized, clean, and running smoothly
  • Maintain accurate records of repair orders, parts, and customer interactions

Qualifications

  • Powersports experience (motorcycle dealership or service center strongly preferred)
  • Solid baseline mechanical knowledge of motorcycles — you don't need to turn wrenches, but you should understand the work well enough to explain it to a customer (our lead tech will brief you on the deeper diagnostics)
  • Experience dealing with insurance and/or warranty companies is a big plus
  • Comfortable with dealership management / service-writing software, scheduling tools, and parts ordering
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
  • Organized, self-driven, and able to juggle multiple jobs at once
  • A genuine passion for motorcycles and the sport
  • Valid driver's license; motorcycle endorsement (M1) a plus

Compensation

$50,000–$75,000+ per year (base + commission, based on experience and growth). This isn't a clock-in job — it's a chance to grow with the Maali family.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Employee discount
