Are you organised, confident talking to customers and full of ideas for helping a business grow?

We’re looking for someone to join our team in a varied, office-based role, helping keep our workload organised, looking after customers and bringing new work into the business.

RTC Plant Services repairs, services and maintains machinery across the construction, agricultural and industrial sectors, with mobile engineers and workshop facilities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Handling customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Booking in repairs and servicing, and helping organise engineers’ schedules.
• Keeping customers updated on their jobs.
• Following up enquiries and quotations.
• Managing our social media, sharing updates and showcasing our work.
• Contacting potential customers and developing relationships to generate new business.
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the office.

Who we’re looking for:

• Someone friendly and confident, with good communication and customer service skills.
• An organised person who can prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload.
• Someone proactive, happy to pick up the phone and spot opportunities for new work.
• Comfortable using computers and social media.
• Able to work independently while being part of a small team.

Experience in service coordination, customer service, sales or marketing would be useful. Knowledge of plant or agricultural machinery would be a bonus, but isn’t essential.

Hours: Flexible to suit the right person
