Brown Brothers Engineers Flow Technology Ltd, a member of the AxFlow Group, is the exclusive distributor for SPX Flow equipment in New Zealand and specializes in providing equipment, engineering support, and solutions to food processing, pharmaceutical, and related industries. The company offers a wide range of equipment, including plate heat exchangers, homogenisers, separators, pumps, valves and mixers.

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Service & Design Engineer to join our team based in Hamilton. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for designing PHE systems and providing technical support within the food processing, pharmaceutical, industrial and related industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Design PHE systems
• Diagnose faults in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure timely and professional service delivery.
• Prepare quotes and Technical Specifications for customers.
• Support the wider service team in delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in food processing, dairy, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Good English communication skills and computer literacy.
• Familiarity with a range of Plate Heat Exchangers and systems
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
