Service & Installation Technician
Location: Niagara Falls, ON
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Work Arrangement: On-site, with occasional travel across Southern Ontario

Position Summary
Signature Sign & Image is looking for a dependable Service & Installation Technician to install, service and repair custom signage, illuminated signs and digital displays.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, remove and repair signage, supports and lighting components.
• Review drawings, take site measurements, and prepare and load materials.
• Use hand tools, power tools and access equipment safely within your training.
• Troubleshoot issues, test completed work and report concerns to your supervisor.
• Complete safety checks, follow safety procedures, and keep tools and work areas organized.
• Communicate with clients and the team; submit job notes, photos and timecards.

Qualifications

Required

• At least 1 year of experience in construction or commercial environment.
• Valid G-class driver’s licence with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round, lifting up to 75 lbs and working at heights up to 200 ft.
• Mechanical aptitude, safe tool use, good communication and a reliable work ethic.
• Willing to travel 3+ hours from Niagara Falls in company vehicles, with overtime as required.

Preferred

• Sign installation or service experience, electrical troubleshooting skills, and experience operating boom trucks or cranes.
• Current Working at Heights and Aerial Lift Platform training.
