About Us

Alliance Nav is one of Canada’s leading providers of mission critical navigation and communication equipment to commercial shipping fleets, with a long history of serving sophisticated customers who rely on our people’s technical know-how, deep yet diverse expertise, and longstanding reputation for quality. Thanks to our field service technicians, our head office team, and our network of equipment partners, we work hard to fulfill our promise to customers: keeping their ships navigating safely.

Much more than an equipment and service company – we are a leader in providing solutions to our loyal customer partners and their technical staff to ensure that they too can deliver on their mission. We are a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and flat organization that offers exciting growth opportunities for talented professionals searching for a new challenge.

Our team is currently searching for a Service & Logistics Coordinator to ensure smooth field service operations and efficient coordination of service work from initial request to final close. From inventory to shipping, the Service & Logistics Coordinator supports stakeholders across the organization.

The Role Philosophy

Reporting to the leadership team and supporting day-to-day service operations, the Service & Logistics Coordinator serves as a key player between customers, technicians, suppliers, and internal teams across our Canadian and US locations. As a key contributor, you ensure the seamless execution of field service activities through effective scheduling, inventory coordination, procurement, shipping, and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple priorities with precision, including coordinating service jobs, maintaining accurate ERP records, tracking purchase orders, supporting cross-border logistics, and ensuring technicians have what they need to succeed. By bringing strong organization, attention to detail, and clear communication to every task, the Service & Logistics Coordinator helps streamline operations, improve service delivery, and support the continued success of the team.

Who You Are

You thrive in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment where accuracy and follow-through are second nature. While taking pride in keeping multiple priorities on track, you remain calm under pressure, and bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work. As a strong communicator, you collaborate confidently across all levels of the organization to ensure work moves forward efficiently.

While you are comfortable working with computers and other operating systems, it brings you equal excitement to continuously learn and build your knowledge. Above all, you are adaptable, dependable, and bring the right attitude that helps keep operations running smoothly.

  • Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming parts and equipment, and keeping inventory accurate in our ERP system.
  • Placing and tracking purchase orders with suppliers, OEMs and expediting when a job is at risk.
  • Preparing and dispatching outbound shipments to technicians, vessels, and job sites across Canada and the US, with correct tracking, shipping and customs paperwork, including Canada to US cross border.
  • Keeping our service and inventory records clean so the team manages from accurate, current information.

Your Profile

  • Bilingual in English and French, spoken and written.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Comfort with computers, numbers, and readiness to learn an ERP like NetSuite.
  • A sense of urgency and a calm head when things get busy.
  • Ability to commute on-site to our Saint-Laurent office.
