Service & Operations Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Service & Operations Coordinator with experience in the heavy equipment rental industry to coordinate service, maintenance, breakdowns, and daily operational activities. The role involves close coordination with customers, service technicians, workshop, transport, and internal operations teams to ensure equipment is maintained and service requirements are met promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily service, maintenance, and breakdown requests for heavy equipment.
• Schedule and dispatch technicians and service teams to customer sites.
• Monitor equipment breakdowns, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with Workshop, Transport, Hire Desk, Sales, and Operations teams.
• Follow up on service jobs and ensure timely completion and equipment availability.
• Communicate with customers regarding service requests, updates, and equipment status.
• Maintain service records, job cards, and maintenance reports.
• Escalate major breakdowns, delays, and customer concerns to management.
• Prepare daily/weekly service and operations reports.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment rental, equipment service, fleet operations, or a similar industry.
• Good understanding of heavy equipment, machinery, maintenance, and breakdown coordination.
• Experience coordinating technicians and service teams.
• Strong follow-up, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple service requests and prioritize urgent breakdowns.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• UAE experience in the heavy equipment rental industry is preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving License is an added advantage.
