Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Beverage Preparation & Service: Mixing cocktails, pouring beer/wine, and serving beverages directly to customers or through service staff.
• Customer Interaction: Welcoming guests, offering menus, answering questions about ingredients, making recommendations, and building rapport.
• Operational Maintenance: Stocking bar inventory (liquor, beer, wine, mixers), carry and lift 20lbs min., prepping garnishes, cleaning glasses and tools, and keeping the bar area hygienic.
• Safety & Compliance: Verifying legal age (checking IDs) and monitoring alcohol consumption to prevent over-intoxication.
• Transaction Management: Using POS systems to process cash and credit card transactions, manage tabs, and handle tips.
• Menu Development: Creating or updating cocktail menus and recommending new beverages.

Essential Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails and mixology techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask, such as serving multiple customers and managing orders simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.35 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
