Service Biomedical engineer

Summary
Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs of medical equipment used in veterinary diagnosis, treatment, and surgery. Supports veterinarians and clinical staff by keeping equipment safe, reliable, and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain veterinary equipment, including anesthesia machines, patient monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, sterilizers, and laboratory analyzers.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and electrical safety checks within authorized scope.
• Diagnose equipment faults and coordinate repairs with manufacturers or service providers.
• Support installation and acceptance testing of new equipment.
• Train veterinary staff on proper equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain equipment inventories, service records, and maintenance schedules.
• Assist with equipment selection, purchasing, and replacement planning.
• Coordinate specialist servicing of imaging equipment, such as X-ray and ultrasound systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Experience maintaining medical equipment; veterinary experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond promptly to equipment failures.

Pay: From ﷼3,700.00 per month
