Service Centre Officer - Maru Street

Join a supportive Distribution team helping keep our Service Centre running smoothly and safely.

• Varied administration and operations support role based at Maru Street.
• Work closely with carriers, contractors, customers, sales teams and onsite operations.
• Help support safe, accurate and timely order processing, dispatch, inventory and weighbridge activities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Service Centre Officer, you will support the day-to-day operation of the Maru Street Service Centre, including order processing, dispatch, transport liaison, administration, site communications and operational support when required.

• Process orders, dispatch dockets, bookings, production orders and store transfers accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with carriers, contractors, customers, sales teams, Service Centres and onsite operations to support smooth delivery.
• Support health and safety activity, including conversations, inductions, green rooms, meetings and incident reporting.
• Assist with inventory, cycle stocktakes, stock adjustments, low-stock reporting and ordering of internal and external products.
• Provide weighbridge, container, fuel, planning, housekeeping, training and general operations support as required.

ABOUT YOU

You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys working in a busy, varied environment and takes pride in accurate administration, great service and contributing to a positive team culture.

To be considered for this role, you will have the following:

• Previous experience in a similar administration, service centre, logistics or operations support role.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Strong multitasking skills and confidence managing priorities in a busy environment.
• A proactive approach to safety, health, environment and wellbeing.
