Service Centre Operator - Maru Street

• Hands-on role operating fixed and mobile plant to prepare and load fertiliser blends.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Service Centre Operator, you will connect with customers to deliver timely, exceptional service while keeping safety and the environment front of mind. This hands-on role is responsible for accurately mixing fertiliser, loading trucks, operating plant and equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe and efficient site.

• Operate fixed plant such as blenders, belt systems and hoppers, as well as mobile plant including forklifts, loaders and site vehicles.

• Prepare product blends accurately and safely to fulfil customer orders.

• Complete inventory, dispatch and inward goods transactions accurately.

• Maintain site presentation, housekeeping and basic preventative maintenance checks.

• Build positive working relationships with customers, contractors, carriers, suppliers, the local sales team and site colleagues.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a practical, safety-focused team player who enjoys working with customers and keeping operations running smoothly. You will bring sound attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and confidence working around plant, equipment and vehicles.

To be considered for this role, you will have the following:

• A full, valid driver licence.
• Experience in transport, warehousing, distribution or agricultural environments.
• Working knowledge of heavy machinery, industrial equipment or vehicles.
• General Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with SAP knowledge an advantage.
• A commitment to safe work practices, quality standards, continuous improvement and great customer service.
