Service Coordinator

About the role

TireSmart is looking for a Service Coordinator to oversee the smooth coordination of daily service operations at our Tagum branch. The position will coordinate customer requests, service schedules, technicians, materials, job orders, and service completion. The Service Coordinator should have sufficient automotive knowledge to understand basic vehicle and tire services, monitor the work being performed, and ensure that service procedures and customer requirements are properly followed.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and assist customers with vehicle and tire service inquiries.
• Coordinate and schedule services such as tire installation, tire repair, wheel balancing, wheel alignment, rotation, and other related services.
• Prepare and monitor Job Orders and service transactions.
• Coordinate with technicians regarding the required work and customer concerns.
• Monitor the progress of service jobs and ensure that work is completed according to the Job Order.
• Conduct basic verification of completed services before endorsing the vehicle for release.
• Coordinate with Parts/Inventory regarding required tires, parts, tools, and materials.
• Communicate service status and estimated completion times to customers.
• Address customer concerns and coordinate with technicians or Management when technical issues arise.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Qualification

• TESDA graduate/certified in Automotive Servicing or related automotive course is highly preferred.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of automotive servicing, tires, wheel alignment, wheel balancing, tire repair, and general vehicle maintenance.
• Previous experience as an automotive service advisor, service coordinator, mechanic, automotive technician, or similar position is an advantage.
• Able to understand and evaluate basic service work performed by technicians.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of monitoring multiple service jobs.
• Computer literate and able to prepare basic reports and documentation.
• Honest, responsible, assertive, and capable of maintaining proper control and documentation of service transactions.
• Willing to work on-site in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
