Commercial Roofing Service Coordinator

Location: West Berlin, NJ – South Jersey / Philadelphia Metro
Position: Full-Time | Hybrid
Salary: $58,000–$62,000 annually, depending on experience

About the Opportunity:

We are a growing regional commercial roofing contractor seeking an organized, proactive Commercial Roofing Service Coordinator to support the operation of our centrally managed commercial roofing Service Department.

Working closely with ownership, the Branch Manager, and Service Superintendent, this position serves as the central point of coordination between our commercial customers, service technicians, suppliers, vendors, and office.

The right person will take ownership of the service workflow helping ensure service calls are scheduled, technicians are prepared, customers are informed, materials are available, documentation is complete, and completed work moves promptly toward billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process commercial roof leak and repair requests.
• Create, maintain, and track service work orders within the CRM.
• Manage daily and weekly scheduling and dispatch of service technicians and crews.
• Communicate scheduling, service status, and follow-up needs with customers and technicians.
• Coordinate emergency service calls, return trips, and approved repairs.
• Provide technicians with job scopes, site contacts, access information, and required documentation.
• Review technician service notes, photographs, labor, materials, and job documentation for completeness.
• Order service materials and coordinate supplier pickups and deliveries as needed.
• Create and track purchase orders and ensure costs are assigned to the appropriate work order.
• Monitor open work orders from initial request through completion and billing readiness.
• Track completed work and help prevent billing delays.
• Assist with repair proposals, customer approvals, and scheduling approved work.
• Coordinate recurring roof inspections and preventive maintenance services.
• Maintain accurate customer, property, and service history within the CRM.

What We're Looking For

We are especially interested in candidates with experience in commercial roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical contracting, facilities maintenance, or another field-service environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with CRM or field-service management software.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• The ability to manage multiple customers, technicians, schedules, and priorities simultaneously.
• Confidence communicating with both field personnel and commercial customers.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach and willingness to take ownership of the service workflow.

Commercial roofing experience is highly desirable, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong construction or field-service coordination experience.
