What they need

Servicing Coordinator

Aotea Electric Invercargill
Full-time | Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm

Are you an experienced administrator or coordinator who enjoys looking after clients, solving problems, and bringing calm to a busy environment?

Aotea Electric Invercargill is looking for a positive and highly organised Servicing Coordinator to become a central part of our growing Servicing Division.

You will be the first point of contact for many of our clients and will help ensure jobs are booked, scheduled, progressed, and completed efficiently. This is a varied position combining client service, job coordination, administration, and accounts support.

About the role

As Servicing Coordinator, you will work closely with our Servicing Manager, supervisors, field staff, accounts team, suppliers, and clients.

You will take ownership of the day-to-day administration and coordination of servicing work, from the initial enquiry through to scheduling, client communication, documentation, invoicing support, and work-in-progress reporting.

Priorities can change quickly, so you will need to remain calm, constructive, and solutions-focused while continuing to make our clients feel genuinely valued.

This is a full-time, office-based position working Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Key responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to client enquiries by phone and email
  • Creating, scheduling, and progressing jobs in our job management system
  • Coordinating urgent and reactive work with supervisors and field staff
  • Keeping clients informed about scheduling, progress, delays, and changes
  • Processing supplier invoices, credits, recharges, and other accounts-related administration
  • Assisting the accounts team with supplier statements and invoice queries
  • Maintaining accurate job records, client portals, and compliance documentation
  • Completing work-in-progress reporting and following up outstanding actions
  • Supporting the Servicing Manager, supervisors, accounts team, and wider administration team

A full position description is available upon request.

About you

You will be:

  • Positive, friendly, and passionate about excellent client service
  • Calm and solutions-focused when priorities change
  • Highly organised, accurate, and attentive to detail
  • Confident managing several tasks and deadlines at once
  • A clear communicator who takes ownership and follows through
  • A supportive team member who enjoys helping others succeed

Previous experience in administration, accounts, invoicing, customer service, or office coordination would be advantageous.

Trade industry experience is not required. Your attitude, administrative ability, attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to looking after clients are more important to us.

Why join Aotea Electric?

Aotea Electric is a well-established, New Zealand-owned electrical business with a strong reputation throughout Southland.

You will join a growing division where your work will directly influence the experience of our clients and the performance of our field team.

We offer:

  • Consistent Monday to Friday working hours
  • A varied role with genuine responsibility and ownership
  • Support from an experienced management and supervisory team
  • A great workplace culture and a large, active social environment
  • Opportunities to develop your administration and service coordination skills
  • A collaborative and down-to-earth working environment
  • A stable position within a respected company
  • An immediate start, with notice periods accommodated for the right person
