Service Coordinator

We're recruiting a Service Coordinator to be the hub of our service operation. You'll own the engineers' diaries, keep customers and suppliers updated, and make sure every job runs on time.

In return, we offer a salary of £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience, 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays, on-site parking and a clear route to develop your career in a growing business.

Duties for this role will include:

• Scheduling service engineers for survey appointments and repair work, matched to their skills and location
• Planning routes across Hinckley, Leicester, Coventry, Northampton and the wider Midlands to cut travel time
• Acting as the main point of contact for engineers, suppliers and customers, giving clear updates throughout
• Re-planning the diary when jobs overrun, parts are delayed or engineers are off
• Tracking quotes and conversion rates, following up parts deliveries and resolving supplier queries
• Maintaining and creating RAMS, job sheets and compliance documentation
• Owning our KPI dashboards: compiling the data every day / week, spotting trends and flagging problems before they cost us work
• Supporting dispatch, logistics and reporting to keep daily operations running smoothly
• Working with management to resolve escalations and improve service processes

Why the numbers matter: our KPIs are how we run the business. Quote conversion, engineer utilisation, average job value etc show us every week where we're winning or losing work. As Service Coordinator, you'll own that data and use it to make better decisions, so you'll have a direct impact on our growth.

Requirements:

• Must have experience in service coordination, scheduling or administration within a maintenance, glazing, property services or facilities management environment
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Able to juggle changing priorities in a fast-growing business
• Excellent communication with customers, engineers and suppliers
• Confident with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), scheduling software and CRM systems, and comfortable turning data into clear reports
• A proactive, solution-focused approach to problems
• Must be able to work from our Hinckley office. Hybrid or remote working is not available for this role

Desirable experience:

• Using a job management system such as Eworks Manager, Jobber or similar
• Following up quotes, invoices or payments
