FIRST STEPS SERVICE COORDINATOR – FULL-TIME FOR MACON COUNTY AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST MISSOURI.

Full-time Service Coordinator needed for Macon County and surrounding counties of Northeast Missouri – The Dahlberg Group, LLC. Missouri First Steps is an Early Intervention program for children birth-3 years. Dahlberg Group, LLC is the System Point of Entry (SPOE) for Region 3 that provides intake/ongoing service coordination for families and children in the 22 counties in Northeast Missouri. The candidate must live in or near the coverage area since the Service Coordinator’s work from a home office and travel within the service area to families' homes once the training period is completed.

General Qualifications:

This position requires travel; must have a valid Missouri driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.

Must have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in one of the following areas, with 1-year documented experience working with families: Early Childhood, Child/Human Development; Special Education; Elementary Education; Early Childhood Special Education; Psychology; Education Administration; Sociology; Social Work; Family Science/Studies; Nursing; Counseling Or a bachelor's degree or higher with three years of documented experience working with families and young children.

This position requires the SC apply and exercise professional judgment and discretion in determining and securing important Part C services to assist the family and child in overcoming significant developmental challenges. This position requires: Excellent organizational and time management skills; Ability to learn quickly and work independently and with other professionals; and proficient computer skills. This is a full-time position, and pay rate is based upon verifiable qualifications and experience.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
• Day shift

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
