About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional Service Crew members to join the team at Select Goods in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences. As a Service Crew member, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and hospitality. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation as a welcoming and professionally-run venue.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting and seating guests in a warm and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders from customers and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serving food and drinks promptly and courteously, following proper service protocols and presentation standards
• Ensuring tables are properly set, clean and well-maintained throughout service periods
• Addressing guest inquiries, special requests and any concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach
• Clearing tables promptly and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area
• Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately
• Restocking supplies and assisting with general housekeeping duties to maintain a hygienic environment
• Collaborating effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders and other team members to ensure smooth operations
• Adhering to food safety, health and hygiene standards at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as waiting staff or in a customer-facing hospitality role is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when taking orders and serving food and beverages
• Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods during busy service times
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage offerings and menu items
• A positive attitude, reliability and commitment to punctuality
• Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues during peak periods
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is advantageous
• Fluency in English and Filipino; additional languages are a bonus
