Service Crew

The Role Job Description

He/She will deliver consistently high quality customer service and provides overall support to the service team.

Reporting to: Assistant Manager / Restaurant Manager

Working Hours

• Minimum of one day of 12 hours (full shift).

• Scheduled shifts, subject to requirements: Lunch shift (10am to 5pm) or Dinner shift (3pm to 11pm).

Customer Relations

• Delivers food and drinks to customers in a timely fashion and offers a description of the food being served.

• Familiarises himself/herself with menu items (including food restrictions, allergens and religious needs) so as to spot and correct mistakes or missing elements before they are served to guests.

• Interacts with customers for the purposes of reservations, order taking, responding to general enquiries, taking feedback, etc.

Operations

• Ensures that tables are clean and set with ample cutlery and plates, are promptly replenished throughout a meal service, and are reset for dessert.

• Actively looks to offer and/or replenish drinking water.

• Maintains and updates in-store guest communication (menus, tent cards, chalkboards, wall writing, posters, etc.).

• Packs door gifts.

Hygiene, Sanitation & Food Safety

• Maintains cleanliness of all FOH work areas before, during and after meal services.

• Maintains all FOH ware (serving ware, cutlery, glassware, furniture, soft furnishings, etc.).

• Maintains operating equipment and other company services.

Management

• Attends and actively contributes to meetings as required.

• Performs any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by management.

• Communicates anything peculiar to the Assistant Manager / Duty Manager / Restaurant Manager.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,200.00 per month
