Service Crew

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Service Crew to join the hospitality team at Cochilocomanila. This is a full-time position based in Malay, Aklan, where you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service to our guests. As a Service Crew member, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences and maintaining the high standards that define our establishment. Your contribution will directly impact guest satisfaction and the overall success of our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive first impression
• Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, clarifying any special requests or dietary requirements
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure table settings are clean, properly arranged and meet company standards before and after each service
• Check in regularly with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meal and address any concerns promptly
• Process payments and handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for subsequent guests
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Adhere to all health, safety and food hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment, preferably in a waitstaff or service crew role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities to manage multiple tables simultaneously
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry items safely
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
• Basic mathematical skills for handling payments and calculating change accurately
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous
