Service Crew / Waiter / Waitress

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Service Crew / Waiter / Waitress to join our team at Radiante International Sdn. Bhd. in Muar, Johor. This is a full-time position where you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them in accordance with restaurant layout and reservations
• Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings
• Take accurate orders from guests and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner, ensuring correct order fulfilment
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns or special requests promptly
• Clear and reset tables efficiently between seatings, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Process payments accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash or card transactions
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with dietary requirements or allergies
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, hygienic work environment
• Perform additional duties as required to support team operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a waitressing, waiting or service crew role within a hospitality setting
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
• Strong communication abilities and proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent numeracy skills for handling payments and processing transactions accurately
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays and dining items
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• A neat personal appearance and professional presentation
