What they need

For over 40 years, Burnie Brae has been at the heart of the Brisbane North and Moreton Bay communities. More than a service provider, we’re a place where people feel welcomed, supported, and truly cared for.

We’re now looking for a Service Delivery Assistant to join our Care Services team in a full-time, fixed-term role (6 months) to provide outstanding support to our Intake team.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Service Delivery Assistant is the first point of contact for clients contacting the Burnie Brae Intake team. You will help coordinate service support needs, deliver high-quality customer service, and ensure all administrative requirements are met efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Be the friendly, empathetic voice for clients responding to enquiries, follow-ups, and My Aged Care referrals promptly.
  • Keep the Intake team running smoothly by managing inboxes, updating client records in AlayaCare, and completing essential admin tasks.
  • Provide clear information about Burnie Brae and community services, and contribute ideas to improve how we deliver care.
  • Review client progress notes, escalate concerns, and maintain accurate records.

What You’ll Bring

  • We’re looking for someone with both heart and skill - a person who is organised, caring, and ready to make a real difference for our clients. You’ll have:
  • A genuine passion for supporting older people, vulnerable clients, and the community.
  • Warm, professional, and confident communication.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and systems efficiently.
  • Experience in Aged Care or community services administration (highly regarded).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a friendly, supportive team.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.

**Why Join Burnie Brae?**At Burnie Brae, we take care of our people so you can take care of the community. We want you to feel valued, supported, and motivated every day, which is why we offer a range of benefits designed to make work rewarding and enjoyable:

  • Salary packaging to boost your take-home pay (up to $15,900 plus $2,650 for meals & entertainment)
  • 17.5% annual leave loading
  • Flexible and hybrid work options where possible
  • Free, confidential counselling and mental health support through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Discounts on Burnie Brae services, including gym, massage, physio, café, travel, health insurance, and more
  • Recognition and reward programs to celebrate your contributions
  • Blue Light Card savings on everyday expenses, retail, and dining
  • At Burnie Brae, your work makes a difference - and we make sure you feel appreciated while doing it.
