Service Delivery Lead

About Us Komodo Consulting is a technology and strategy firm specializing in Digital Transformation. Operating in Portugal and Poland, we provide IT Consulting & Nearshore services. We support both public and private sector organizations through two main areas:

• Consulting — with a focus on strategy, investment analysis, and digital process improvement;
• IT Team Augmentation — helping clients scale and strengthen their tech teams.

The Project We are seeking a Service Delivery Lead to work on a Tech project.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for the client, building strong and trusted relationships;
• Ensure delivery teams consistently meet client expectations and business objectives;
• Lead delivery governance meetings, providing clear status updates, risk assessments, and action plans;
• Monitor delivery performance, team capacity, and overall project health;
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when necessary;
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, teams, and ways of working;
• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and engineering teams to align delivery with client priorities;
• Support staffing decisions by helping identify and select the right talent for the client.

You need to have the following skills/experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Service Delivery, Agile Delivery, Project Management, or similar client-facing roles;
• Proven experience managing client relationships and stakeholder expectations;
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or equivalent);
• Experience leading cross-functional delivery teams in international and distributed environments;
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills;
• English proficiency at B2 level or above (written and spoken);
• Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) are a plus;
• Experience in Application Development, Managed Services, or Digital Transformation programs is a plus;
• Knowledge of delivery metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement practices is a plus;
• Familiarity with Agile management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps is a plus.

Location Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid - 2 days per week at the office).
