Service Driver

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and professional Service Driver to join the team at Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. As a Service Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of services and materials to our clients and operational sites. This position is essential to maintaining our commitment to excellent customer service and operational efficiency across the engineering sector.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company vehicles in a safe, professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Transport materials, equipment, and personnel to designated locations within and around Subic Bay Freeport Zone
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, including fuel, oil, tyres, and brake inspections
• Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance activities
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of items whilst maintaining proper documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members to coordinate routes and schedules
• Keep the vehicle clean and in presentable condition at all times
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests as required
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to management

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle classification being operated
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional driving experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations in the Subic Bay and surrounding areas
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to maintain punctuality and meet delivery schedules consistently
• Attention to detail with excellent record-keeping abilities
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry materials safely
• Professional demeanour and commitment to customer service excellence
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations
• Preferably with experience in logistics, delivery services, or the engineering sector
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it would be advantageous
