The Work

We focus on residential and light commercial electrical service:

• KEI Electrical focuses on electrical service, troubleshooting, and repairs for residential and commercial customers. We’re looking for an experienced electrician who enjoys diagnosing problems, recommending practical solutions, and managing small projects from the initial assessment through completion.

In this role, you’ll assess commercial electrical work, identify the labor and materials needed, and plan repairs and installations to meet the customer’s needs and budget. We provide training on preparing clear, accurate estimates, giving you the skills to price and complete small projects with confidence.

Your work will include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing residential and commercial electrical systems
• Assessing existing equipment and identifying necessary repairs or upgrades
• Discussing findings and options professionally with customers
• Planning labor and materials to keep projects within the approved budget
• Learning to prepare estimates with clear scopes of work
• Completing small repairs, installations, and upgrades from start to finish
• Delivering clean, professional work that meets NEC and local code requirements

You’ll run small projects independently, work directly with customers, and see your work through from start to finish. This role is a great fit for an experienced electrician who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership, and delivering clean, professional installations.

Qualifications

• Current New Mexico Journeyman Electrician License
• 10+ years of electrical experience
• Strong troubleshooting and installation skills
• Ability to plan work, manage materials, and complete projects efficiently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Pride in your craftsmanship and a desire to find a long-term company home
