Service Engineer (Automation Equipment)

Responsibilities

Install, test, commission, and maintain automation systems.

Set up controllers, PCs, software, robots, and electrical/electronic components.

Troubleshoot equipment issues by analyzing circuits, machine logs, and process flows.

Identify root causes and perform repairs to minimize equipment downtime.

Conduct onsite machine buy-offs based on customer requirements.

Handle customer support requests and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.

Provide phone and onsite support in line with service requirements.

Prepare accurate and timely service reports.

Work independently while maintaining strong communication and customer service.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Automation, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in automation setup, maintenance, or service support.

Knowledge of electrical systems, servo motors, robots, and automation equipment.

Experience with PC, software installation, and machine configuration.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

Willingness to learn new technologies and travel overseas on short notice.
