Job Summary
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, system upgrades, and project execution services for Yokogawa automation and control systems. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable customer operations, delivering high-quality technical services, and maintaining customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and professional support.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide timely technical support for customer troubleshooting requests and emergency service situations.
• Deliver on-call, remote, and on-site support for automation and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and control system issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve system reliability and prevent recurring issues.

Project Execution

• Execute software modifications, system enhancements, migrations, and upgrade projects in accordance with project requirements and service agreements.
• Support system installation, testing, commissioning, startup, and site acceptance activities.
• Manage technical activities for assigned projects and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure projects are completed within the defined scope, schedule, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, service reports, and technical records throughout the project lifecycle.

Investigation & Reporting

• Conduct technical investigations and prepare detailed reports for customers and internal management.
• Prepare investigation reports for warranty claims and service-related cases.
• Recommend corrective actions and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and system performance.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Collaborate with regional and global support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Project teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
• Share technical knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned with team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, Process Control, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Experience in process control, industrial automation, or a related field is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of AI tools and the ability to apply them effectively to support technical work, documentation, reporting, data analysis, troubleshooting, and productivity improvement is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willing to learn new technologies and continuously improve technical and digital skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio is an advantage.
• TOEIC score of 500 or above.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to customer sites as required.
