Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our technical service team. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining laptops, desktops, and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair laptops and desktops.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Troubleshoot software and operating-system issues.
• Identify faulty components and provide appropriate solutions.
• Perform basic PCB-level troubleshooting and repair.
• Diagnose basic networking and connectivity issues.
• Test repaired devices to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Communicate repair status and technical issues to customers.
• Handle customer queries professionally.
• Escalate complex technical problems to the Service Manager.
• Maintain proper handling of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Complete assigned service jobs within the required turnaround time.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Service Engineer, Service Technician, or in a similar role.
• Strong laptop and desktop hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Good knowledge of software and operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of PCB and electronic components.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good customer-handling and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
