About the role

JLK AUTOMATION (THAILAND) CO., LTD. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team in Bang Pa-in, Ayutthaya. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our customers' automated systems and machinery. As a Service Engineer, you will be the technical backbone ensuring our clients receive exceptional after-sales support, preventative maintenance, and rapid problem resolution. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering outstanding service quality and maintaining long-term customer relationships in the mechanical engineering sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, and testing of automated machinery and systems at customer sites
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and technical faults in a timely manner
• Provide on-site technical support and repairs to minimise equipment downtime
• Document all service activities, maintenance records, and technical findings accurately
• Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide technical guidance
• Train customers on the proper operation and maintenance of their equipment
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify improvements and develop solutions
• Maintain a high standard of safety compliance and adhere to all health and safety protocols
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns

What we're looking for

• A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a service engineering, maintenance, or technical support role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation principles
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues
• Hands-on experience with machinery troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Proficiency with mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong communication skills in Thai and English (both verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
• A valid driving licence and reliable transportation
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
