Service Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Install and commission machines at customer sites.

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Diagnose mechanical problems and identify root causes.

Handle machine assembly, dismantling, alignment, and adjustments.

Inspect and replace mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, gears, belts, chains, couplings, etc.

Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems where applicable.

Read and understand mechanical drawings and machine manuals.

Conduct machine trials and performance checks.

Attend customer complaints and provide technical solutions.

Prepare service reports and document work completed.

Coordinate with the design, production, electrical, and spare-parts teams.

Preferred candidate profile

Only male candiates will be preferred.

Good knowledge of mechanical machines and components.

Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Ability to read mechanical drawings.

Knowledge of measuring instruments and hand tools.

Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and customer-handling skills.

Willingness to travel extensively for customer support.

Valid driving licence is mandatory
