Service engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Service Engineer with minimum 2 years of experience in the Solar/Renewable Energy industry. The candidate will be responsible for installation support, commissioning, preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of solar PV systems at project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and service solar PV systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in solar systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems.
• Troubleshoot inverters, solar panels, SCB, ACDB, DCDB, batteries, and related electrical equipment.
• Attend service calls and resolve technical issues at project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare service reports.
• Coordinate with technical, project, and operations teams for timely issue resolution.
• Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and spare-parts requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site guidelines.
• Provide technical support and basic training to clients when required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Solar PV systems and electrical equipment.
• Hands-on experience in solar installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of inverters, solar panels, transformers, AC/DC systems, and wiring.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Solar/Renewable Energy.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
