Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems. The successful candidate will provide technical support, ensure optimal equipment performance, and build strong relationships with customers by delivering timely and effective service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform equipment setup, installation, commissioning, servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs at customer sites.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support the Sales team by providing technical expertise, product demonstrations, application support, and proposal preparation.
• Conduct on-site customer training on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
• Provide on-call technical support, including after-hours assistance when required.
• Participate in the installation, hardware setup, and commissioning of newly purchased equipment at customer facilities.
• Analyze equipment performance, maintenance records, and repair data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Prepare accurate service reports and maintain proper service documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical service role within the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge and a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment and processes, including Reflow Oven, Wave Soldering, Selective Soldering, SPI, AOI, or related equipment, is an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated, responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas as required.
• Possess a valid driving license.
