Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of surveillance and security systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IP and analog cameras, NVR/DVR configurations, networking basics, and cable management. You will work across commercial, industrial, and residential client sites to deliver reliable security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Setup: Install, position, and mount CCTV cameras (bullet, dome, PTZ), NVRs, DVRs, power supplies, and security accessories.
• Cabling & Routing: Lay, route, and terminate Ethernet (Cat5e/Cat6), coaxial (RG59/RG6), power, and fiber optic cabling following safety standards and industry guidelines.
• Network & Remote Access: Configure IP addresses, port forwarding, routers, switches, and remote viewing software/apps for mobile and desktop access.
• Testing & Calibration: Calibrate camera angles, focal lengths, motion detection, night vision (IR), and recording schedules for optimal footage coverage.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and diagnose hardware failures, network disconnections, power issues, or corrupted footage.
• System Integration: Integrate CCTV systems with access control, burglar alarms, video door phones (VDP), or intercom systems where required.
• Documentation & Support: Maintain detailed records of installations, IP schema, cable runs, and provide basic system training to clients.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–5+ years of hands-on experience as a CCTV / Security Systems Technician.
• Technical Knowledge:
• In-depth understanding of IP/Analog CCTV systems, Hikvision, CP PLUS, Dahua, Axis, or Honeywell hardware.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Subnetting, DHCP, DNS, Port Forwarding, VLANs).
• Hands-on experience with power supplies, PoE switches, UPS setups, and cable termination (RJ45, BNC, DC jacks).
• Tools & Equipment: Proficient with drill machines, cable testers, multi-meters, network crimping tools, and ladders/scaffolding.
• Certifications (Preferred): CCNA/Network+ or manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Hikvision/Dahua Certified Technician).
• Education: Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent experience.

Work Conditions & Physical Demands

• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and work in varied indoor/outdoor environments.
• Willingness to travel to client sites locally or regionally.
• Valid driver’s license and physical fitness for manual labor and handling tools.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
