Service Engineer

M-TRANS GROUP is looking for a technically skilled and customer-oriented Service Engineer to provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for office automation equipment and IT products.

The candidate will be responsible for attending customer service calls, diagnosing technical problems, completing preventive maintenance, resolving breakdown issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain photocopiers, multifunction printers (MFDs), and document scanners.
• Attend breakdown, preventive maintenance (PM), installation, and AMC service calls.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment issues.
• Identify and replace faulty components, spare parts, and consumables as required.
• Perform machine cleaning, adjustments, calibration, and operational testing.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce machine breakdowns and repeated service calls.
• Provide technical support for professional displays, digital signage, and related equipment as required.
• Explain equipment operation and basic troubleshooting procedures to customers.
• Complete Service Call Reports (SCRs) and Daily Activity Reports (DARs) accurately and on time.
• Update service call status and spare parts usage in the company's reporting system.
• Coordinate with the Service Coordinator regarding pending calls, spare parts, and customer requirements.
• Follow service schedules and ensure timely attendance and closure of assigned calls.
• Maintain professional customer relationships and follow company service procedures.
• Travel to customer locations as required.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, or mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to prepare service reports and maintain records.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with the service team.

Educational Qualification

• ITI, Diploma, or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may apply.
• Experience servicing photocopiers, printers, MFDs, scanners, or office automation equipment will be an advantage.

Performance Expectations

• Timely attendance and closure of assigned service calls.
• High first-time fix rate and minimum repeat complaints.
• Completion of preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Timely submission of SCRs and DARs.
• Proper spare parts usage and reporting.
• Customer satisfaction and professional service conduct.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
