Role & responsibilities

nstalls, maintains, tests, and repairs power backup systems to prevent critical equipment failure and costly downtime

• System Setup: Install, configure, and commission single-phase and three-phase UPS systems, battery banks, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and power distribution units.
• Site Inspections: Conduct pre-installation site surveys, check floor loading, clearances, earthing, ventilation, and review electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Load Studies: Perform power and load profiling using analyzers to assess operating demand, harmonics, and power factors.

2. Preventive and Routine Maintenance

• Scheduled Inspections: Perform periodic preventive maintenance (PPM) to test internal components, check for loose bus bar connections, and clean dust from high-voltage circuits using specialized vacuums.
• Battery Health Checks: Test individual battery string voltages, check for physical swelling or leakage, perform impedance testing, and replace degraded batteries.
