Job Description
Pratish Packaging is a growing name in the packaging industry. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our packaging machinery at client locations.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical skills (mechanical/electrical) and a customer-first approach to solving breakdown issues quickly.
Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning: Handle on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of packaging machines at customer factories.
• Maintenance & Repair: Conduct routine preventive maintenance and attend to emergency breakdown calls promptly.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic faults in the machinery and resolve them efficiently.
• Customer Training: Provide operational and basic maintenance training to the clients operators on-site.
• Spare Parts Management: Identify required spare parts, coordinate with the backend office for supply, and ensure proper replacement.
• Service Reporting: Maintain detailed service reports, customer sign-offs, and feedback for every site visit.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience servicing industrial machinery (Experience in packaging, printing, or FMCG machinery is highly preferred).
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatic systems, and mechanical assemblies.
• Soft Skills: Good communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Travel: Must be willing to travel extensively to client sites across Mumbai and surrounding regions as needed.
