Service Engineer

About the role

ShinGen Sdn. Bhd. specializes in end-of-line (EOL) packaging machinery and automation solutions. We are expanding our technical team and seeking a motivated Service Engineer to provide professional technical support, machinery installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting services to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of packaging machinery and automation systems
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance, machine inspections, and repair services
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues
• Provide on-site technical support and resolve customer machinery problems efficiently
• Support packaging automation projects, including conveyor systems and end-of-line packaging solutions
• Conduct machine performance testing, health checks, and technical evaluations
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, commissioning reports, and technical documentation
• Provide technical training and operational guidance to customers
• Work closely with the Sales and Project teams to deliver reliable technical solutions
• Travel to customer sites when required for installation, servicing, and project support

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field
• Experience in machinery servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, or industrial automation is an advantage
• Fresh graduates with a strong technical foundation and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a technical team
• Willing to travel within Malaysia and work at customer sites when required
• Possess a valid driving licence
