Service Engineer

About the role

This role involves process validation, equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities at customer sites. You will conduct validation of equipment optimization solutions, handle equipment issues and abnormalities, perform on-site installations and commissioning, and provide after-sales technical support to ensure stable production and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Commission and troubleshoot equipment according to customer requirements
• Handle equipment issues and abnormalities at customer sites
• Provide on-site validation data and support process validation activities
• Conduct validation of equipment optimization solutions
• Prepare and follow up on validation results and improvement activities
• Perform equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting according to customer requirements
• Respond promptly to equipment abnormalities and carry out necessary repairs to ensure stable production
• Report daily production status and equipment abnormalities to the Technical Service Supervisor
• Commission and adjust equipment according to contractual acceptance criteria
• Follow up on after-sales service and customer site issues

About you

• Diploma or above in Engineering, Automation, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar technical service role within the automation industry
• Willing to work on shifts and travel extensively worldwide, including Taiwan, Vietnam, the United States and other overseas locations
• Responsible, proactive and highly committed to work
• Good communication skills with a calm and positive attitude
• Strong execution, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced customer-site environment
