Service Engineer

We are seeking an Automotive Service Engineer to provide aftersales technical support for Commercial Vehicle Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems. The role will support DENSO Service Dealers, distributors, and fleet customers in service, maintenance, warranty, training, and technical troubleshooting matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide aftersales technical support for Commercial Vehicle Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems.
• Support DENSO Service Dealers, distributors, and fleet customers on service, maintenance, and warranty matters.
• Conduct technical training and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) activities for service dealers and customers.
• Monitor warranty claims, spare parts requirements, and service performance.
• Investigate technical issues and support product troubleshooting.
• Gather market information to support business growth and service improvements.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective customer support and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong technical aptitude in electrical, mechanical, and automotive systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Good communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational, administrative, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a dynamic working environment.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.
• Willing to travel for customer visits, technical support, training, and field service activities when required.

Relevant Experience

• Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, including aftersales service, technical troubleshooting, warranty support, or customer service activities, will be an advantage.
• Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle aftersales service, technical support, or maintenance operations will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic design software will be an added advantage.
